Justin Moore
Chief Executive Officer
Justin Moore is a serial entrepreneur, early-stage advisor, and angel investor focused on turning around the status quo in established markets. He is recognized as an authority on cloud computing, SMB market strategy, and startups. Currently CEO and co-founder of Axcient, Justin has lead the transformation of the data backup and business continuity industry to end downtime for SMBs. Prior to Axcient, Justin founded MK Global, which provided an innovative approach to addressing the surplus of secondary market telecommunications equipment after the dot-com collapse. At MK Global he secured exclusive rights to over $1 Billion in infrastructure from major Telecom providers and led the company to profitability, with Qwest and Level 3 Communications as key customers. Before MK Global, Justin started CollegeJobs.com and worked at Morgan Stanley.
Justin actively participates in the advisory boards and councils of private and public companies, including HP’s SMB Central and the CNBC Small Business Council. He is a popular keynote speaker, is frequently quoted or published in leading business media, and is an award-winning mentor to young entrepreneurs.

John Finegan
Chief Financial Officer
John Finegan is a 35-year finance veteran who has served as CFO through the successful IPOs of Cornerstone Imaging and ShoreTel. John has contracted as interim CFO for Axcient since June 2010 and recently assumed the full-time role. As CFO, John will continue to offer the financial perspective needed to enable the company’s rapid growth. In the past, he also served as CFO at Actionpoint, VP Finance for Faraday Electronics, VP Finance for ECS Microsystems, and Controller at Beckman Coulter. John is a partner with FLG and has extensive experience in venture and debt financing, IPOs, SEC compliance, investor relations, mergers & acquisitions, and international issues.

Todd Scallan
Vice President of Products
Todd Scallan brings over 25 years of product management experience to Axcient and is responsible for ensuring that Axcient’s products continue to stay at the leading edge of the SMB data protection industry. Most recently, Todd was VP of Product Management for Interwoven, where he spent eight years overseeing the definition and delivery of enterprise software products for content management and was awarded a patent. Before Interwoven, Todd worked at Segue Software and start-up Black & White Software, which Segue acquired. His roles included VP of Engineering for Segue’s functional testing and software metering solutions and VP of Business Development for Black & White’s distributed application development products. Prior to Segue, Todd spent 11 years at IBM. He holds an MS degree in computer engineering, a BS in electrical engineering, and has published numerous articles and papers on a range of computing topics.

Chris Sterbenc
VP of Sales
Chris is a seasoned sales executive with more than twenty years of experience in technology and channel sales. Chris is responsible for the strategy and execution of Axcient’s channel focused sales model. He has earned the respect of resellers and Managed Service Provider partners, as well as a place on the MSPmentor 250 list. Chris previously architected the MSP and Reseller channels for Untangle, Inc., a provider of network security solutions for small and medium businesses. Prior to Untangle, Chris was VP of Sales at NCompass Labs, which was acquired by Microsoft Corporation. At Microsoft, he held the position of General Manager, Content Management Solutions and managed Microsoft's significant revenue growth from sales of their Content Management System software. Additionally, Chris was VP of Sales at the launch of Rainmaker Systems, a leading business process outsourcing company in Silicon Valley.

George Tuma
VP of Engineering
George Tuma brings over 20 years of engineering experience to Axcient. In the past two years, George has lead Axcient’s development of data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions, including Cloud Continuity, to ensure data and application uptime, all the time. George has extensive background in software, hardware, storage, virtualization and windows environments. George was previously at Phoenix Technologies, where he ran the group that delivered Phoenix’s desktop virtualization software. Prior to Phoenix, George was VP of Engineering at LogLogic, which is one of the market leaders in log management, database security and compliance management. George also served as VP, Engineering at Teneros, where he lead the group that worked on the Teneros’s high-availability appliance for Microsoft Exchange. George is the primary inventor on multiple U.S. patents.

Pam Lyra
VP of Customer Satisfaction
Pam Lyra is a passionate support professional who has built a global customer service, training, and support presence for WebEx, Trimble, and a number of startups in her 20+ year career. As VP of Support for Axcient, she is responsible for building and maintaining the industry’s highest-quality service team to deliver a superior customer experience. Previously, she was Senior Director of Global Support for Trimble, where she helped double the company’s worldwide footprint while decreasing expenses by 35%. She also led a global customer service team for WebEx through its highest growth years and IPO. Pam earned her BS degree in electrical engineering and minors in computer science and English literature from UC San Diego.

Jeff Teddleton
VP of Operations
Jeff Teddleton joins Axcient with more than 25 years experience in solving business problems with technology. As VP of Operations, he is responsible for Axcient’s business systems, manufacturing operations, compliance, facilities, and disaster recovery process management. While VP of Technology Operations at Zuora, Jeff delivered SaaS solutions with 99.95% service availability and achieved various compliance certifications. As a Senior Director at WebEx, he built a global team that supported revenue growth from ~$3M to more than ~$750M. Jeff has held similar executive or consultant roles for Juniper Networks, Rocket Lawyer, Okta, and BuildingSearch.

Kelly Dugan
Director of Finance
Kelly Dugan brings more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience to Axcient and is responsible for Axcient’s financial policies and procedures. Most recently Kelly was Vice President of Finance and Operations at SeeControl, Inc., which provides an M2M SaaS software platform for tracking and sensor monitoring software applications. Prior to SeeControl, Kelly held the position of Director of Finance for Antara LLC, where she was responsible for the company’s financial policies and procedures, IT, and human resources. Before Antara, Kelly was Owner of Shamrock Business Services, a company providing accounting services to venture backed start-ups and established businesses. Kelly began her career at Masstor Systems Corporation. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in accounting from Strayer University in Washington, D.C.

Laura Kelly
Director of Corporate Marketing
With over 15 years of experience in the high tech and entertainment industries, Laura Kelly is a marketing professional who has covered all facets of the marketing spectrum in both B2B and B2C companies creating buzz, developing brands, and generating demand. With a double major in Creative Writing and Film, Laura began her marketing career in product placement for Miramax Studios. After moving from LA to San Francisco, Laura segued into the creative aspects of marketing and began her own design and development firm in 2001. Most recently, Laura managed the creative marketing and web team for Riverbed Technology, a leading provider of WAN optimization solutions for enterprise companies around the world. Previous companies also include Zone Labs, Exodus Communications, Walt Disney, and Warner Brothers. As the Director of Corporate Marketing at Axcient, Laura is currently responsible for the strategy and execution of all marketing programs, events, and campaigns.

Elias Dayeh
Director of Business Operations
Elias Dayeh joins Axcient with more than 14 years of experience throughout the storage, SaaS, and telecommunications industries. As the Director of Business Operations, he is responsible for the strategy, architecture, development, integration and operations of Axcient’s enterprise applications. Most recently, Elias was Director, Business Operations at Motorola Mobility, acquired by Google, where he was responsible for the strategy, architecture, development, implementation, and rollout of 3rd party Software Bill of Materials as well as strategy and architecture of the Salesforce.com platform implementation for the Software and Services Product Management division. Elias has held numerous roles in sales development, business development, system architecture and business operations at Pillar Data Systems, (acquired by Oracle), Andale Inc., Meridian Systems, and Electronic Arts. He presents regularly at large industry events, trade shows and conventions.

Blaine Welker
Director of Sales Operations
Blaine Welker is a technology sales veteran with over twenty years of experience helping early-stage companies achieve significant growth. As Director of Sales Operations, Blaine is responsible for driving sales processes and ensuring efficient execution of the Axcient business model. Prior to Axcient, Blaine was Director of Sales at Untangle, helping the SaaS-based provider of network solutions for the SMB market increase its customer base over 300% to almost 2 million protected users worldwide. At NCompass Labs, he helped build and direct the company’s US-based operations, leading to its acquisition by Microsoft. At Microsoft, he managed strategic channel relationships for the Content Management business group, resulting in year-over-year revenue growth of 250%. Blaine has also held sales positions with VMware and Symantec.
