Axcient, the leading provider of data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery services to the SMB market is looking for an Online Marketing Specialist who will work under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Corporate Marketing to create, measure, analyze, and optimize online and outbound marketing programs to achieve marketing goals.

Position Description
The Online Marketing Specialist will create and deploy highly effective online marketing programs and demand gen initiatives including online advertising, SEM, email campaigns, social media, co-marketing opportunities, and more. This position is both creative and analytical in nature. To be successful, you will have very strong written and verbal communication skills and a passion for innovative software and customer success. In this position, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and implementing awareness programs that directly impact the critical business metrics. Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and manage online and email marketing programs focusing on building awareness and partner acquisition.
- Analyze and report program performance; provide results and recommendations for improvement and new programs.
- Leverage a "test, measure, and refine" approach to constantly improve program results and increase the impact of online marketing on revenue and profitability.
- Passion for Social Media and a thorough understanding of how to best use these tools for marketing.
- Execute highly effective direct response programs to significantly increase inbound lead flow and pipeline generation.
- Propose new online/outbound marketing program ideas along with data, costs, and estimated ROI to execute these programs.
- Develop ad copy, landing pages, banner creatives, and other marketing collateral.
- Manage weekly and monthly reporting and tracking, flagging issues for internal stakeholders and report metrics appropriately.
- Develop and manage metrics; understand and implement coding schemes for tracking purposes.
- Manage Paid Search campaigns.
- Understand, optimize, and expand our keyword list.
- Provide support for other areas of marketing as needed.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree required.
- 3+ years in an online marketing role. Previous experience in a B2B high tech online marketing role focusing on partner sales and enablement a big plus.
- Thorough understanding of online and outbound marketing a must.
- Ability to stretch limited budgets to squeeze the most out of programs for the best possible ROI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform ROI analysis and identify tactics for constant improvement.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Motivated self-starter with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency.
- Highly analytical, comfortable with large amounts of numbers/number crunching, and excellent at producing reports on the data. Previous experience with Google Analytics a must.
- Passion for delivering results and driving internal and external customer success.
- Previous experience with marketing automation tools (such as Eloqua, Marketo, Responsys, Pardot, Genius, etc.) and developing email marketing campaigns.
- Experience with SEO and SEM/PPC.
- Ability to effectively accomplish goals while working in a team-based, open-office environment.
- Familiarity with web services, APIs, and data feeds a plus.
- HTML and CSS skills a plus.
