Application Awareness

Axcient application awareness offers the extra intelligence needed for easily backing up and recovering data with Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Active Directory (AD). Capturing data from any of these applications ensures a consistent backup is taken without having to shut down the application.

You can also perform a granular exchange recovery, meaning recovery of a single email message, entire mailboxes, or full mailing systems with all the trimmings like contacts and calendar entries within Microsoft Exchange.
